Hydraulic Systems

KCC Software has developed replacement control systems for two specific families of hydraulic systems - hydraulic presses and hydraulic balers. In both of these, we work with our mechanical partner company American Construction Technologies (ACT) in Smyrna, TN. 

Our baler control system was designed and has been expanded to replace systems built by four different baler manufacturers. We created a high degree of configuration in our new system allowing the one solution to work in the same manner as any one of those systems. All configuration work is done by the ACT team when they install the new system.

Our press replacement system was designed to replace Cincinnati Manufacturing systems presses, but the concepts are identical to the necessary controls for many other press manufacturers. There is no reason this cannot be a direct or slightly altered solution depending on the press system to be replaced. 

Each hydraulic system upgrade includes a BRX PLC with significant statistical analysis of the operation to assist in better and more proactive ownership of the upgraded system. We listened to our clients and implemented many of the features they felt were missing from the older systems. So, the upgrade was in far more than just the machine operation.
